Napkins, Naturally Dyed, Set of 2 - Khaki Shibori
Make a meal extra special by setting the table with these hand dyed napkins, created with natural botanical dyes. These napkins are multipurpose and can be used as hand towels, kitchen cloths, placemats, and bread basket liners.
These flour sack cloth napkins are sewn in the USA and hand dyed individually in our New Jersey studio. They are 100% cotton, are pretreated and pre-washed to be colorfast. Due to the nature of botanical dye processes, each napkin is just a bit different and unique.
Each set comes with a care card and the dye information specific to your individual pieces.
20" x 20" (some napkins have slight variations in size)
CARE & GENERAL INFORMATION:
These goods have been individually dyed with natural pigments and botanical extracts to create one of a kind pieces of textile art. No two pieces are exactly alike. Be sure to embrace the imperfections and inconsistencies in these hand crafted goods - they will bring so much joy into your home.
Wash in cold water with like colors or hand-wash.
As commercial detergents are designed to remove natural dyes and stains, it is best to use a gentle or pH-neutral detergent such as Eucalan, Woolite, or Orvus Paste that does not contain baking soda (that will alter the colors.) Dry away from the sun. Certain dyes like Logwood fade more quickly in the sun.
A bit of fading can be expected over time, especially with regular use and washing, however the dye is fixed and colorfast and should wear well.
